When it comes to furniture, it’s all about good quality products and skilled workmanship, and I have a list of excellent companies that I’ve honed down over the years.

I look for the small details that make a big difference, such as beautiful handles, different finishes and unusual materials. I also love it when I can incorporate existing pieces of furniture into a scheme, for example, reupholstering a beloved chair or sofa in piece in a fabric that works with the new room design or designing around a statement piece.
