About me

Lisa sitting on the floor surrounded by interior design swatches

Hello, I'm Lisa.

I’m passionate about creativity and people, and the alchemy that takes place when these two elements come together.

When it comes to creativity, the only restriction is your imagination.

I’ve been working as an interior designer for over 15 years and, after a long time working for an interior design company, a few years ago I decided to work for myself.

Throughout my career I’ve worked with many different and wonderful clients. I’ve learned how to tune into people’s personalities, cultural backgrounds and what makes them tick.

I wholeheartedly believe that your home should reflect who you are – your style, your personality – it shouldn’t look like a show home. Your home is your sanctuary where you surround yourself with the things you love, the things that inspire you, whether that’s colours, textures, plants, patterns, music, art, books, family, friends or pets.

“You cannot understand good design if you do not understand people; design is made for people. ”

The Design Process

My goal is to make your home the best it can be. I’ll listen to and understand your expectations, and I might also push you out of your comfort zone, showing you what could be achieved when you let go of your restrictions let your imagination guide you. The possibilities are endless, and the design process should be an enjoyable one.

Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing a design project through from initial concept to installation. I love the transformative process and seeing my clients’ reactions is one of the main reasons I love being a designer.

Colour and Pattern

Colour conjures up different emotions and can directly influence our mood and well-being. When you’re deciding which colours you want in your home, it’s important to think about the atmosphere you want to create in a space and which colours will achieve this.

Being bold with colour isn’t for the faint-hearted, but its ability to enhance a space makes it one of the most powerful tools in interior design.

As with many things, colour is subjective. We all have colours we love and those we don’t. Colour can come in the form of paint, wallpaper, art, cushions or rugs. I love mixing colour and pattern together in my projects. Great design shouldn’t be rigid and constrained – if it works, it works.

Let your imagination run wild… be bold and unapologetic!
