Master En-suite

THE BRIEF

The ensuite had not been touched since the house was built in the nineties and was very dated.

As the Master Bedroom had recently been updated, we decided to carry the aesthetic and colour palette through  into the ensuite

THE DETAILS

The dated bathroom was reimagined with a generous walk-in shower and a Crittall-style screen, creating a bold contrast against the bookend marble wall slabs.

Brass hardware was used throughout — from the shower fittings to the vanity, mirrors and accessories — adding warmth and a subtle sense of luxury.

An Arte wallcovering was selected to complement the colour palette of the adjoining master bedroom, tying the spaces together seamlessly.

THE RESULT

A once-dated bathroom has been transformed into a modern, stylish retreat.

The original layout was opened up to prioritise light and flow, making space for a generous walk-in shower that anchors the room.

Clean lines, contemporary finishes and a calm, neutral palette bring a sense of understated luxury, transforming the bathroom into a space that feels both practical and indulgent

CLIENT WORDS

“Lisa has been my interior designer for the last four years, during which time she has completed a wide range of projects.

She has a bold, creative eye and can be relied on to provide a unique personal design. She loves colour, so give her a wide berth if your preference is monochrome minimalism. Her knowledge of materials, products and suppliers is impressive.

She is also selective in her choice of tradesmen. Woe betides any client who challenges her choices!

Over the years I have learned it is wiser (and safer) to defer to her excellent taste and unerring judgement which always produces results far better than I anticipated.

I have long lost count of the accolades, as her finished work invariably draws compliments from even the most discerning and demanding of guests.

Keeping her to budget requires more strength than I could ever muster, but her value long outlasts her prices”
